The Apiary

THE APIARY are Australian-born, Berlin-based directing duo Lily Coates and Gavin Youngs. Working across fashion, design, advertising and the arts, they’re acclaimed for their high-concept approach to filmmaking and fanatical eye for detail. Their diverse clientele includes Ikea, Clinique, Nespresso, Samsung, Calvin Klein, Aesop, Tetesept, Porsche Design, Huawei, Nowness, i-D Magazine and Bang & Olufsen. Permeating all The Apiary’s films is a subtle whimsy, a sense of still life in motion, and a richly seductive quality that draws viewers into their world.
